Zeptej.Se is a mobile application in which children and adolescents from 8 to 17 years of age can entrust themselves in a safe environment to experienced counselors from the non-profit organization Hope4kids, z. S., Which has been working with children in primary schools since 2003. How does it work? Our counselors receive many questions in which children deal with the tension in family cohabitation and school, recently also the stress of online teaching, mood swings and sometimes a growing sense of emptiness. Thats why we decided to get even closer to the children and created a modern mobile application for them. It provides a safe space for their questions. Our team of experienced advisors can guide them in finding a way out of their often hopeless situations.Users of the application will find the most frequently asked questions from their peers, which relate to interpersonal relationships, problems with school, but also, for example, finding the meaning of life.In addition, they have the opportunity to ask their own question. They can choose from 6 sections:⚫ Family⚫ School⚫ Friendship⚫ LoveCo What about me ?!⚫ Life and deathWithin two working days, interviewers will be notified that a response is ready. The questions are always answered by one of the team of experienced advisors who currently has the service, before sending the answer is approved by the lead adviser. In this way, we help several hundred young people a year.We do not provide crisis intervention, our goal is not to replace medical care or professional psychological help.One of the activities of Hope4kids are the prevention programs of the Ethics Workshop® in primary schools, for the participants of which we also have interesting bonuses in the application. After entering the code they receive in the ED, students can return to interesting videos and the most important ideas that were voiced in the program. They can also provide us with feedback from the program. Code of Ethics for Advisors 1. Counselors draw on their education and expertise in pedagogy, ethics, primary risk prevention, cybersecurity, developmental psychology and theology, but also from their life experiences in working with children and adolescents, including the role of parents. The team of advisors and the organization relies on Christian-Jewish values ​​in matters of ethical basis.2. In general, counselors seek empathy and guidance for children to communicate with people around them (within the family and school) and to find professionals who can solve their problems in person (especially for questions beyond the professional competence of counselors).3. No pressure is exerted on a client regarding his beliefs, religion, race, politics, ideology or sexual orientation.4. All information provided by the client is considered confidential, we do not pass on any data to a third party, unless this is contrary to the laws of the Czech Republic.5.
